Resistance Band Workouts for a Full Body Burn at Home
Resistance bands are the most underrated piece of home gym equipment. Lightweight, affordable, and versatile — they can replace an entire rack of dumbbells. Here’s a complete full-body workout.
Warm Up (5 minutes)
Jumping jacks, arm circles, and light band pull-aparts to activate the muscles.
Upper Body
Banded Push-Up: Loop band across upper back and hold ends under palms. Adds resistance on the way up. 3 sets × 12 reps.
Bicep Curl: Stand on band, curl with both hands. 3 sets × 15 reps.
Overhead Tricep Extension: Hold band overhead, extend arms. 3 sets × 12 reps.
Lower Body
Banded Squat: Place band under feet, hold at shoulders. 4 sets × 15 reps.
Glute Bridge: Loop band above knees, thrust hips upward. 3 sets × 20 reps.
Lateral Walk: Band around ankles, step side to side. 3 sets × 20 steps each direction.
Core
Pallof Press: Anchor band at chest height, press directly forward. Anti-rotation core work. 3 sets × 12 reps per side.
